To begin, the prohibition is a violation of personal freedom. We should respect the freedom each human has to choose who they want to love and who they want to spend their lives with; why should it be somebody else’s decision when is a personal life. Furthermore, it is important to understand that we are unique and have different thoughts, beliefs, religion, culture, sexual orientation and much more aspects that may be different to ours, but at the end, is that what makes the world fascinating. Why are people focusing more their attention on same-sex marriage, instead of creating a law for gun control which is a fact that really affects the country and our socie ty? Personal freedom should be a right that all of us, with no exception, should enjoy and take advantage of. Instead of preventing homosexuals to get married, we should think of a better way to make children understand the importance of morality, love, equality so they grow with a foundation that will make the world a better place. Clearly, opponents do not see it this way.
